About Sargodha Board
Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is one of the leading boards in Punjab. Formed in 1968. The Board was thus established under the Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Ordinance, 1968. BISE Sargodha initially seceded from the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in 1975 and then from BISE Faisalabad in 1988.
The current jurisdiction of BISE Sargodha includes Sargodha District, Khushab District, Mianwali District, and Bhakkar District. The Board, therefore, ensures the commencement of annual Matriculation and Intermediate examinations every year for registered private and regular students. It also provides certificates to candidates who pass the secondary and higher secondary examinations. But as per the policy, all the students registered for the 11th class annual examination were promoted to Intermediate Part II without appearing in the board examinations.
