Bachelor of Science in Zoology is a three-year undergraduate programme that includes advanced study and research work. It covers the form, function, and behavior of animals and elucidates general biological principles through the study of specialized or experimentally tractable systems.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria in order to pursue the BSc Zoology course. The candidate must have a class 12th or equivalent diploma from a recognised board and a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination. There is usually some relaxation for the reserved candidates, depending on the institute.

BSc Zoology Admission Process

  • The admission to the course is mostly based on the cut-off list issued by the university or college. However, some universities like Banaras Hindu University also conduct their own undergraduate entrance tests to shortlist students for admission into the course.
