physics is a three-year undergraduate course that deals with the fundamentals of physics. BSc in Physics aims at teaching graduates essential topics such as quantum mechanics, Electromagnetism, optics, calculus semiconductors, waves, statistics, etc.

BSc course duration is divided into six semesters, and each BSc physics syllabus for each semester comprises theory, lab, and practical examinations.

To be eligible for BSc Physics admission, students need to graduate 10+2 with aggregate marks of 50-60% with PCBM, or PCM as compulsory subjects. Admission is merit-based most of the time, but some universities hold entrance exams for admission to BSc Physics.

BSc Physics Admission

Admission to the?BSc?programme is generally merit-based, and students have to wait for the merit lists to be declared to get admission. Some universities also hold entrance exams for admission into the course.

  • Students must visit the college website and register themselves.
  • They must apply for the entrance exam of the university if it holds one for their course.
  • Prepare for the entrance exam.
  • Wait for the cut-off lists to be released by the college and then continue the admission process.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the entire application process will take place online this year.

BSc Physics Entrance Exam

Universities hold some major exams to get admission intoB. SCphysics are:

  • GSAT exam – The exam is held by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University and is a 1-hour offline exam to get admission into b. SC physics. The dates for the exam still have to be announced.
  • IISER exam- Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research conduct an entrance exam to provide admission to candidates. The exam has a 3-hour duration, and the tentative date is 17 September.
  • BHU-UET- The bananas Hindu university also holds an entrance exam for admission into?B. SC?courses. The Registration process will start in June, and the exam will be held in August.
  • JEE Exam is the selection criteria for getting admission in the B.SC course in IIT and IISc.
