The new building was use in 1996.BUMHS occurr in 2004. So the initial process to establish it began. However, it was not until 2017 that the Balochistan Parliament passed the 2017 Boland University of Medicine and Health Sciences Act, and the 2017 BUMHS Act came into force. The BUMHS Bill 2017 was approve by the Governor of Balochistan, Mr. Muhammad Khan Achakzai on December 20, 2017. BUMHS issue a notice on 22nd December 2017 and was publish in Balochistan Gazette in March 2018. Professor Naqibullah Achakzai was the first to be appoint.
