Re-checking of NIOS Result Class 10 and 12
- After releasing the result of NIOS , the institute will open the online application window for rechecking theory paper answer scripts.
- Students can apply for rechecking within 15 days after NIOS April result.
- They will have to pay online Rs 300 per subject as application fee.
- In rechecking of NIOS result , It will ensure that all answers have evaluate and there is no mistake in the totalling of marks and that the marks have been award correctly.
- After verification of nios.ac.in result 10th and 12th class, the marks of a candidate can be increase or decrease as require.

Re-evaluation of NIOS Result 12th class
- Students must note that revaluation facility is provided to class 12 students and 10th class students can not apply for revaluation of NIOS.ac.in result .

- Application forms can submit for theory subjects only, not for practicals. ‘
- Students can apply for revaluation until 15 days after the declaration of NIOS board result .

- After Re-evaluation of class 12 NIOS result , if the reevaluated marks are less than the original marks, then the original marks will be considere.
- If there is an increase of 5% or more marks then the new marks will be awarded.

Apply for correction in NIOS Result
- If any student finds any mistake in his/her name, Father’s Name, Mother’s name, DOB, Address, etc., then he/she can apply for correction in their NIOS board result and record of NIOS admission .
- They can apply at their study centre or at the concerned Regional Centre.

- They will have to attach the documentary proof and other documents (Mark sheet, Provisional Certificate or Migration or final certificate) as required.

NIOS Improvement of Performance
- If a student is unable to perform well in a subject in NIOS.ac.in April result then he/she is free to apply for an improvement exam.
- For this, students will have to apply in the same manner as applied for the exams earlier by paying the required NIOS exam fees.
- Students can use this facility only once within the duration of admission i.e. five years from the date of admission.
- If a student is applying for such a subject that involves practical and theory exam evaluation then he/she will have to appear in both theory and practicals for improvement exam.
- The better of the two NIOS results will be considered and included in the mark sheet.
- To prepare for the improvement exam, students should practise with NIOS question papers to practise with types of questions asked.
